Our boutique gîte, La Française, is a renovated goat stable built with comfort and quality in mind. The gîte has a living area of 75 m² and can accommodate up to 5 people.
It features a private terrace with natural views, a large surrounding garden, and a lovely swimming pool with panoramic valley views.
We live discreetly on the property further up the hill and value your privacy. This ensures complete tranquility, while personal attention is always within reach.
Facilities
Living Room: Spacious and bright living room with a comfortable sofa and a stylish table with ample chairs.
Kitchen: A fully equipped open-plan kitchen with all appliances and utensils for easily preparing delicious meals.
Bedrooms: Two cool bedrooms with high-quality beds and bedside tables. The comfortable sofa bed in the living room offers an additional sleeping space for 1 to 2 people.
Bathroom: A modern bathroom with a luxurious double sink, a comfortable shower, and sufficient storage space.
Toilet: A separate toilet on the same floor as the bedrooms.
Hall: The hall between the bedrooms features a wardrobe and large glass doors leading to the large garden. A staircase leads to the living room.
Additional guests: The garden offers the option of pitching tents for additional guests.
Crib: A sturdy Bopita crib is available for our youngest guests (upon request). Because your little one deserves the same comfort.
Garden
The large garden is completely private and a wonderful place to truly unwind.
The garden offers a pleasant mix of shade and sunshine. It’s equipped with a BBQ, a picnic table, a dining table with chairs, comfortable lounge chairs, and a hammock.
At any time of day, you can find a lovely spot to enjoy a cricket concert, a book, or a communal aperitif or meal.
On the terrace at the front of the cottage, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a fresh croissant in the morning sun.
Swimming pool
The pool is surrounded by a large terrace with comfortable lounge chairs, perfect for enjoying the stunning views of the Lot Valley.
The pool is protected by an electric hard cover (compliant with NF P90-306) for the safety of your children.
The pool is practically private, as it’s only shared with our family of three, and we usually only go for a swim when there are no guests.
Cooled bedrooms
The bedrooms have natural cooling. Thanks to their location partially inside a hill and the use of special materials and ventilation, they remain pleasantly cool even in high temperatures.
