Artisanal Beer

Although our region is traditionally known more for its wines and truffles, artisanal beer is starting to gain popularity.

In both the Lot and Dordogne, there are several craft breweries offering tours and tastings. The breweries here are often small-scale and revolve around quality, innovation and a personal touch. The brewers explain the different styles of beer they brew. Many breweries in these areas experiment with local ingredients, such as fruit or herbs, which make the flavours of their beers unique.
